FREMONT KIWANIS ENDOWMENT FUND SCHOLARSHIP
The Stoner and Warner Families donated the former ADP building in Kessler Industrial Park to the Kiwanis Club of Fremont in 1985. Kiwanis kept the building for five years and then sold it to A. Eickert Company that manufactured fine scissors and shears. Proceeds from the sale of the building in 1992 were used to begin the Fremont Kiwanis Endowment Fund. The following year, Kiwanis Club of Fremont began awarding annual scholarships to area high school seniors. In addition to the scholarships, money from the Endowment Fund has been used for a variety of community projects.
